Steiff EAN 037252 25cm Fully Jointed, L/E Alpaca Christmas Teddy Bear 2008. This delightful piece is a Limited Edition of only 2,008 Worldwide, and comes boxed with his own numbered certificate. He is made from gorgeously tactile, highest-quality white alpaca. It is just so dense and luxurious to the touch. He has coordinating paw pads with black hand stitched claws. His face is open and friendly with sparkling eyes and a smart hand stitched black nose and mouth. He wears a red cotton velvet hooded long sleeved coat (not dissimilar to Santa), with white faux fur trim for the cuffs and hood. It is fastened by bright shiny brass coloured buttons with a genuine leather black belt with ornate brass effect buckle. A wonderful heirloom piece, that can be bought out again and again, at every Christmas! He comes with Steiffs trademark gold-plated "button in the ear" with white tag and red print, surface washable. This collectors item is not a toy in the sense of a toy guideline (88/378/EEC/Attachement II).
