Steiff EAN 663017 30cm Fully Jointed, L/E Musical English Rose, Mohair Teddy Bear. This beautiful piece is a Limited Edition of only 2,000 exclusive to the UK and Ireland, produced in 2008. She comes boxed with her own numbered certificate. She is made from the finest short-pile blonde mohair, which is the perfect base, for her all over, single, delicate, English red rose bloom embroidery. Her coordinating wool felt paw pads have hand embroidered red claws. Her left "foot" paw pad has more interest - an embroidered short musical score also in red. Her enchanting gaze from her sparkling brown eyes, turns upwards towards the heavens. A lovingly hand stitched red nose and mouth complete her special look. In the centre of her back you will find a turning key that operates her music box. She plays the musical accompaniment by C Hubert H Parry to William Blakes much loved poem, turned hymn "Jerusalem". She comes with Steiffs trademark gold-plated "button in the ear" with white tag and red print, surface washable. This collectors item is not a toy as defined in the European directive (2009/48/EC) on toy safety.

Steiff EAN 656606 29cm Fully Jointed, L/E Mohair Mountaineer Teddy Bear. This unique and special piece was produced as a German Exclusive in 2008 as a Limited Edition of 658. He comes boxed with his certificate. He is made from the finest, textured blonde mohair, with coordinating felted wool paw pads. Upon his head he wears a traditional black wool felted alpine hat. This one features a flower he has found on his journey. A red and white checked neckerchief has been tied around his neck. Upon his back he carries a suedette satchel. Across his body is his climbing rope and in his paw his climbing pick. He is most definitely ready for the job in hand. His twinkling eyes, hand stitched nose and mouth all bring charm and character to his open friendly face. In Steiffs archives a ROLLY POLLY clown dating from 1908 illustrates the colour combination that would have been used for these sample bears. Thus it was ideal for matching the exact colour used. The yellow teddy is the next in the series (we have had green) and is stuffed with wood shavings, as is fitting for such a precious replica.
