Winnie the Pooh has been a popular favourite since A.A. Milne published the first book back in 1926. Winnie and friends such as Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet only grew in fame and appeal when Disney made the first Winnie film in 1966. Several movies and innumerable books later, you can now buy Winnie the Pooh and friends' related gifts for every occasion, as well as good old-fashioned Winnie the Pooh teddy bears.

A bone china cup which has a pair of red shoes in the inside. Around the outside to the bottom of the cups there are the words Sweet little gifts on christening day specially for you. Above is a picture of Eeyore letting a duck out from a blue gift box, with some toy soldiers beside. Next to Eeyore is Tigger, his name is also written beside him and above is a letter floating down which reads with love from pooh. Lastly there is a picture of piglet and pooh, with also there names painted, Piglet and Pooh are making a daisy chain together and Piglet is sitting on top of a trailer which has some bright colourful blocks within. Winnie the Pooh Facts:
- The origina Winnie was a real live orphaned bear cub, a mascot of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade in the first World War, named after Lietenant Harry Colebourn's hometown of Winnipeg
- A.A. Milne's son, Christopher Robin, named his teddy bear after the real Winnie (who had by this time become famous), which became the inspiration for the Winnie the Pooh stories
- The first Winnie the Pooh book was published in 1926
- It's estimated sales of the four original books have topped 20 million
- Winnie became a film star in 1966
- The only female Poog character is Roo's mother, Kanga
- Winnie, or Pooh Bear, is Disney's second most successful cartoon character, coming second in merchandise sales only to Mickey Mouse
